Meet the Founder
I’m Dr. Maryam Samiee, founder of Odyssey Consultants.
My background spans business, sustainability, finance, planning, and the built environment, allowing me to bring a multidisciplinary perspective to complex projects and decision-making.
I hold a PhD in Business and Sustainability, alongside qualifications in business, project management, urban and environmental planning, architectural engineering, and mortgage and finance broking. Over the years, my work has focused on helping businesses, projects, and clients navigate complexity with greater clarity, alignment, and long-term thinking.
Alongside consultancy, I have spent a large portion of my career in academia, researching and lecturing in business, entrepreneurship, innovation, customer experience, and sustainability.
Working across both academia and industry made me increasingly aware of the disconnect between strategy and real-world execution. Too often, clients were left navigating fragmented advice across finance, property, planning, and construction without anyone connecting the bigger picture.
I founded Odyssey Consultants to solve that.
